Adventiures

Ask me anything   Submit   This is a blog about a year abroad to Denmark and how my life has quickly turned into an adventure.

Adventure already and it’s only 8:54

My school has some construction going on and consequently we have some of our classes in a separate college about ten minutes walk away. This morning I was driven by my host mom to the college to have my first class and she dropped me off with my bike because I am going to a friend’s this afternoon and need my bike to get there. Anyways, I walk into the college and go to room number 24, which is where the online schedule said my class would be two nights ago.  It was a no go. I waited and wondered around the school until 10 minutes after class should have started. I didn’t see any of my class and there was no way of finding my schedule so I started to bike back to the gymnasium. This morning, it was incredibly foggy and breathtakingly beautiful in a mysterious way. And I wanted nothing more than to bike around for a few more moments by myself. It was the coolest thing biking in this thick fog because you couldn’t see more than thirty meeter in front of you. I wondered into this  weird warehousey place and got off my bike to look for a heart rock. (Something I am always doing) It took me about 4 minutes to find one. Success! I got back on my bike and tooled around, making the decision to go back when i found a flower for my hair. After some time I found a rose bush with tiny pink rose buds.

I am back in school now but if anything else, today was worth getting up. Do you ever just live?

Because I can say, in those moments, I was here. Absolutely content, ass on the bike seat, hands dewy from the fog, but I was here.
